Following a lifelong passion, Clarice Wheeler with the help of her daughter, Donna,
formulated a plan to open Imogene’s. The name “Imogene’s” is Clarices’s Mother’s name.
Her granddaughter Ashley, currently a high school student, helps out part time. Four
generations of ladies beginning a business to create a wonderful relaxing experience for
other ladies and their friends. Of course, men are also welcome.
A building was located and a build-out completed including a kitchen and dinning- room.
A “girly food” menu was created. No hamburgers or french fries here. Wholesale
markets were shopped throughout the United States to find home accessories and silk
botanicals for these same ladies to enjoy in their homes. Home accessories and accent
furniture pieces that are above the ordinary in design, yet affordable, are selected.
In mid January 2007 Imogene’s finally opened.
We are still working to create that wonderful experience for the ladies, that is found only
at Imogene’s. Shop with a friend, (designers are available to help with your selections)
have a girly lunch, discuss the selected items with your friend, then complete your shopping
and make your purchases. What a great way to spend your day and now your home looks
terrific too!
